The University of Cambridge and the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute are offering 4 PhD fellowships, covering the broad themes of genetic medicine, infection and immunity, neuroscience and mental health, structural and cell biology applied to medicine, cardiovascular medicine, developmental biology, and epidemiology, public health and primary care, to start in October 2010.
Eligibility Requirements
Candidates should have the potential to pursue a career as an academic clinician. It is anticipated that many will have already commenced their specialist training, but this is not essential. The most important criteria we are looking for in applicants for this programme are academic excellence and the potential to pursue a career in academic medicine.
