Overview
Applications are invited for an MRC Studentship to undertake a DPhil by research in the field of primary health care.
The Division of Public Health and Primary Health Care, University of Oxford, comprises two departments.
The studentship is available in the Department of Primary Health Care (DPHC). DPHC undertakes several research programmes including monitoring chronic disease. Details and contacts of these programmes can be viewed at: http://www.primarycare.ox.ac.uk/research. This studentship will focus on different aspects of the monitoring of cardiovascular risk factors
Application Requirements
Applicants must be eligible for an MRC Studentship (see MRC Studentship Handbook at www.mrc.ac.uk) and for admission as a probationer research student to Oxford University (see graduate studies entrance requirements at http://www.ox.ac.uk/admissions/postgraduate_courses/apply/index.html).
Value of this studentship
Studentships will cover all fees plus an annual stipend of £15,170 for a fixed term of three years.
