UK: Head of Research Computing at University of East Anglia

Announcement

We seek an experienced IT research professional to lead the development and delivery of a new research computing service within the University of East Anglia. The research computing support service will work closely with researchers to optimise the potential of the central computing resources and assist researchers and research administrators with calculating computing costs for grant requests.

Responsibility and Eligibility

The support service will cover access grid, grid computing, research storage, computer code application development, code optimisation, local eScience cluster support, and will improve access to national resources. An IT related degree or equivalent experience is essential.


Salary: £37,651 to £43,622 per annum
