The University of Luxembourg has the following vacancies within its Lassy Laboratory in the Faculty of Sciences, Technology and Communication.
2 PhD students in Computer Science (M/F) on the MOVERE project
- Ref : F1R-CSC-PFN-09IS02
- 2-year contract, renewable once, 40 hours/week
- Student and employee status
Area: Adding resilience to a DSL by language composition
Mission:
- Prepare a doctoral thesis in Computer Science
- Build, based on theories and tools for meta model composition, a tool and a methodology allowing the composition of specified resilience constructs and a domain of specific DSL. The study will be based on case studies that the laboratory is building around e-finance, e-business and e-health.
Profile:
Master in Computer Science, a specialisation in Software Engineering would be a plus
Good background in language (preferably DSL) development and some experience with formal methods.Some knowledge of resilient systems in a plus. Excellent knowledge in English (spoken and written), knowledge of French is a plus
Area : Model checking of resilience features
Mission:
Prepare a doctoral thesis in Computer Science
Achieve operationally by model-checking validation of models including resilience
Profile :
- Master in Computer Science
- Good background in model checking and some experience with formal methods.
- Some knowledge of resilient systems is a plus
- Excellent knowledge in English (spoken and written), knowledge of French is a plus
