Pre-doctoral Fellowship(duration two years with the possibility to extend for one more year) at the Centre for the History of Emotions of the Max Planck Institute for Human Development in Berlin
Specialization
History of education and emotions, e.g. developments in the student-teacher relationship, education/socialization/cultivation of particular emotions in schools
Starting date
earliest possible date
Candidates should be able to demonstrate an active interest in modern and contemporary history with particular emphasis on topics related with the history of emotions.
Duty and Responsibility
• Academic promotion (PhD) with own research project within the framework of the Centre for the History of Emotions.
• Participation in the preparation of scientific conferences and publications of the Centre.
• Participation in activities of the Centre.
Requirements
A first/upper second class degree in history, social science, cultural studies or history of education is expected.
