Overview
The MSc. in Global Innovation Management is a unique 2-year programme offered jointly by the University of Strathclyde (Scotland), Aalborg University (Denmark) and Hamburg University of Technology (Germany), which enables graduates of first degrees in engineering, science and technology to successfully manage the innovation process across international boundaries.
Students have the opportunity to study at two European Universities and the programme's delivery over two years provides a greater depth of learning, more industrial engagement and a rich cultural experience.
Scholarships
There are a number of competitively awarded ERASMUS MUNDUS scholarships (approx. 17) available to applicants from Non EU countries and for applicants from within the European Union, a European Econonmic Area / European Free Trade Association (EEA/EFTA) or an accession state (candidate for EU membership).
The scholarships are 48,000 Euros in total for Non EU students and up to 23,000 Euros for students native to an EU country or having carried out their main activities within the EU for 12 motnhs or more in the last 5 years. Scholarships can be used to contribute to tuition fees and provide a significant contibution to living expenses on a monthly basis over the 2 year length of the programme. Candidates admitted to the MSc will require to have:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, at second-class level or higher, in an engineering, science or technology subject
- An appropriate level of competence in the English language, through attaining IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 232/95
When will the programme start ?
The programme starts in September of each year with a number of ERASMUS MUNDUS scholarships available for both Non-EU and EU based Students.
How to apply ?
Applications should be sent to the administrating institution, the University of Strathclyde. A seperate application to ERASMUS MUNDUS is NOT necessary.
Applicants are reminded that they should not apply for any more than 3 Erasmus Mundus courses at the same time. Applying to more than 3 programmes will invalidate all scholarship applications.

Covering letter (max. 1 page) and summary CV (max. 2 pages) outlining why you should be considered for the course
Two references
A copy of the first degree certificate, including confirmation of the level of award (GPA, if award level not stated on certificate)
English Language Proficiency certificate (see Entry Requirements)
A photocopy of your passport
