Overview
Japan is sponsoring young anesthesiologists from developing countries to attend the AACA 2010
Under the direction of World Federation of Societies of Anaesthesiologists (WFSA), the Japanese Society of Anesthesiologists (JSA) and the Japan Society for Clinical Anesthesia (JSCA) sponsor a number of young promising anesthesiologists working in developing countries who plans to attend the AACA 2010. We hope this opportunity eventually will lead to intimate collaboration with future leaders on this globe.
Selection criteria
Anesthesiologists working in full-time are eligible to apply. Preference will be given to those:
• Working in developing countries
•Within 10 years of career in anesthesia
• Engaged in teaching or under-training at this moment
•Planning to submit poster presentations to the AACA 2010
Scholarships
•Return airfare in the coach class to Fukuoka. Flights will be arranged by JSA travel consultants.
•Transportation fee from the airport to the conference venue.•Registration fees of the meeting.
•Accommodation fees.•Any other cost such as travel charge to the airport of departure is not payable.
•Scholarship recipients will be responsible for any income tax or other fee imposed.
•Scholarship recipients should use the scholarship logo on their own poster presentations.

JSA-JSCA-WFSA AACA Scholarship Application Form
A panel of anesthesiologists selected by the JSA and the JSCA will screen the applications. Successful applicants will be informed by February 28th, 2010. No appeals will be accepted.
Those selected for the scholarship must confirm their intention to accept by March 31st, 2010. Failure of the confirmation will result in the scholarship being passed to the next other applicant.
