Singapore: Executive Development Scholarship (EDS)

Overview

As an EDS scholar, you have the privilege to tap on SPRING's resources to learn from successful business leaders and establish strong networks with the SME community, as well as to keep abreast with local and international business issues. You will also gain insights into the infrastructure and resources available in SPRING to enhance the competitiveness of SMEs.

Sponsorship Coverage includes :

Full tuition and compulsory fees
Monthly maintenance allowance
Annual book allowance
Hostel fees
Approved overseas exchange programme
Computer subsidy
Internship opportunities

Criteria

Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents.
Good results in University or Polytechnic, and GCE 'O'/'A' Levels
Active participation in co-curricular activities (CCAs)
Strong entrepreneurial interest and passion for SME development
Good written, communication and interpersonal skills


Course of Study

Undergraduate courses in National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), and Singapore Management University (SMU) except Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Architecture.

Bond Duration

Two years bond regardless of number of years of sponsored study

How to apply?

Application Cycle

Scholarship applications for the early cycle are now open and the closing date is 31 October.

Alternatively, you may apply during the normal cycle, which is upon the release of the GCE ‘A’ Level results in March. The closing date for the normal cycle is two weeks after the release of GCE ‘A’ Level results.

Submission after the deadline will be considered for the following year's scholarship intake.


Application Process

Screening

You will be shortlisted for an interview with us based on your submitted application form and short essay questions. The essay questions are important to your scholarship application as that helps us to understand you better as an individual.

First Interview & Written Assessment

If you are shortlisted, you will be invited to a first round of interview and written assessment. You will be notified of the outcome within 2 weeks of your interview.

Assessment Centre

Upon passing the first interview, you will attend the Assessment Centre which includes various team-based simulation activities where you will demonstrate their leadership abilities, enterprising values and communication skills.

Final Panel Interview

As the final round of selection, you will meet with the top management of SPRING. Successful candidates will be awarded the scholarship.
