IFUW international fellowships and grants are open only to women graduates who are members of the International Federation.
IFUW and its national affiliates help to build the future by offering fellowships and grants to enable women achieve their educational goals.

o CFUW/A. Vibert Douglas Fellowship – approx. €7500-,
o Ida Smedley MacLean Fellowship – approx. between €4,950 and €6,200-,
o Ruth Bowden International Fellowship – approx. €5000-,

o NZFGW Daphne Purves International Grants – approx. between €1,850 and €3,700
o Winifred Cullis Grants – approx. between €1,850 and €3,700
o Dorothy Leet Grants – approx. between €1,850 and €3,700

Requirements for application
Applicants:
· must be a female graduate
· must be either a member of one of IFUW’s national federations and associations or an IFUW International Member
· must have completed the first year of a doctoral degree.
· must have been accepted for admission to the institute where the work will be carried out
Deadline for application
The deadline for members of IFUW national federations and associations varies by country, but normally falls between September and mid-October. Please ask your national headquarters for the exact deadline. The 2008/2009 competition is now closed. The next competition will offer awards for 2011/2012 and will open in March 2010. IFUW has no other funding available.
