Overview
Scholarships for Colombian students support graduate students at Harvard University who are citizens of Colombia. Two funds make these scholarships possible, one for all Colombian students (Fondo Colombia-Harvard Fund) and one for students and faculty from Universidad de los Andes (Harvard-Los Andes Fund).
Candidates are evaluated on the basis of merit and financial need and must be deemed eligible for financial aid by the Harvard schools they plan to attend. Candidates must apply for consideration before entering the U.S. and prior to the start of their Harvard programs. Candidates must apply to and be accepted to an academic program at the university independently from this fellowship application. Admission to the University does not guarantee a fellowship award.
Recipients are expected to return to Colombia to contribute to the country following the completion of their degree studies.
The Fellowship application and guidelines are available in PDF format.
