Chevening Scholarships for Russian Students

Overview

Each year, the Chevening programme provides around 1,000 new scholarships around the world for postgraduate studies or research at UK Institutions of Higher Education. These FCO Scholarships and Fellowships are prestigious awards which enable overseas students to study in the United Kingdom.

British Chevening scholarship covers tuition fees for residential courses at a UK higher education establishment for a period of 3-12 months as well as accommodation costs and offers you:

  • An opportunity to obtain a postgraduate Master’s qualification
  • The stimulating experience of being part of a dynamic international community
  • The option of undertaking a shorter period of study or research (minimum 3 months)

Priority fields of study:

  • Public Administration
  • International Relations
  • Politics
  • Human Rights
  • Law (including law enforcement)
  • Economics and Trade
  • Climate Change, Energy and the Environment
  • Architecture and Urban Design
  • Journalism

Students on distance learning courses are not eligible for Chevening support.

Application handed in in person or sent by post will not accepted.

The application process for Chevening 2012/2013 is open from 28th October 2011 to 4th December 2011.

  • Legally-verified copies of diploma and grades supplements
  • Legally-verified translation of diploma and grades supplements
