Overview
EcoVentures International (EVI) envisions a world of sustainable economic growth and secure livelihoods born out of the recognition that economic, social, environmental, and generational sustainability are indivisible and therefore must be considered at the core of international development. The EVI Mission is to empower people and communities to build economically and environmentally sustainable livelihoods, enterprises, and communities. We achieve this mission by conducting market assessments of sustainable economic sectors and identifying enterprise opportunities; researching innovative approaches to natural resource management and payments for ecosystem services; advising international non-governmental organizations, local community-based organizations, and local governments to catalyze economic growth without degrading local resources; and, working directly with micro- and small-enterprises, rural farmers, and other land-users to improve their livelihoods.
