Overview
We welcome applications related to any health or social care profession, particularly nursing, occupational therapy, physiotherapy and social work. Current PhD students work on a wide variety of research topics connected to health and social care, most fall into one of four different areas of research:
•the study of specific aspects of clinical practice and role development;
•the planning, management and delivery of health and social care services in the UK and overseas;
•public health and health promotion, including particularly a focus on the reduction of health inequalities;

Eligible Candidate
Applicants should have at least a first degree, and some research knowledge and experience and preferably a Masters degree.
Value of this studentship
A stipend of £15,000 per year is available and tuition fees at Home/EU rate only will be paid.
