Call for Proposals for a Post-doctoral Fellowship in the History and Philosophy of Science. The Oregon State University Center for the Humanities and the Horning Endowment in the Humanities invite applications for a post-doctoral fellowship in the history and philosophy of science.

Value of this fellowship

Scholars not currently employed by OSU who have completed doctorates since January 2005 are eligible for a year-long fellowship in 2010-2011 with a stipend of $40,000.

Postdoctoral fellows will be in residence at the Center for Humanities along with other fellows in a variety of humanities disciplines.

Applications are welcome from all fields of the history of science, including medicine and technology, as well as the philosophy of science and intellectual history. Deadline for applications is March 1, 2010
