Overview
The University of Oxford is offering AHRC postgraduate studentships, starting October 2010, for Master's and doctoral degrees in the field of Religious Studies. Applicants should be of high academic merit.
The studentships are being offered under the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) Block Grant Partnership scheme.
Studentships
One- and two-year awards for Research Master's degrees and up to three years for doctoral degrees. UK students who satisfy certain residency criteria are eligible to apply for full awards covering fees and maintenance. (Maintenance levels are £13,290 p.a. for doctoral awards and up to £9,280 p.a. for Master's awards at 2009-10 rates.) Students from EU countries other than the UK who satisfy certain residency criteria are eligible to apply for fees-only awards.
How to apply
You must apply for an AHRC studentship at the same time as applying for admission to a postgraduate programme at the University of Oxford, using the standard graduate application form. For details on applying to Oxford, see http://www.admin.ox.ac.uk/postgraduate/apply/
