Overview
Applications for clinical research scholarships are assessed by the Medical and Scientific Research Committee.
Objective:
Five-year scholarships for senior researchers in full-time clinical positions with a view to partial release of the researcher from the clinical position. The scholarship is to ensure that significant research activity can be maintained alongside a clinical position with a view to ensuring continuity in research and research guidance.
Grant capital:
The scholarship is for a total of DKK 2.5 million and is awarded in annual instalments of DKK 500,000 to cover the salary of a doctor, in accordance with the collective agreement, as compensation for the clinical function.
Application form:
Can be completed via the Novo Nordisk Foundation's website from 14 December 2009.
Deadline for applications:
No later than 4 p.m. on 1 February 2010.
Allocation meeting: Mid-March 2010. Applicants who have Danish as their native language MUST complete their applications in Danish. Only applicants who do not have Danish as their native language may submit applications in English.
