Overview
Google Earth Outreach supports non-profit organizations that share our mission of community service in areas such as education & culture, environment & science, current affairs, global development, public health and social services. Eligible non-profits can apply for a grant of Google Earth Pro, Google SketchUp Pro or Maps API Premier.
Eligibility
In the United States - Organizations must have current 501(c)(3) status, as assigned by the Internal Revenue Service to be considered for a Google Earth Pro grant.
Other countries/regions - We are currently accepting applications from eligible charitable organizations based in Africa, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, and the UK.
Who is Not Eligible
At this time, we're unable to make grants to the following types of groups:
-Organizations that are religious or political in nature
-Organizations focused primarily on lobbying for political or policy change
-Organizations that are pending or do not have a 501(c)(3) status from the IRS
-Google reserves the right to award grants to any organization. Selections are made at Google's sole discretion, and decisions regarding Google Earth Pro grant recipients are final. Recipients of Google Earth Outreach grants may not use Google Earth Pro, Google SketchUp Pro or Google Maps API Premier in the course of providing a paid service to other companies or organizations. -Please allow up to 3 months for the grants to be awarded.
Google Earth Pro for Non-profits
As a part of Google Earth Outreach, we grant Google Earth Pro licenses to qualifying organizations who demonstrate a need for the advanced features of Google Earth Pro. The free version of Google Earth has most of the features that non-profits need to create Google Earth layers. Compare Products.

High-resolution printing cabability
Area measurement

Google SketchUp Pro for Non-profits
Google SketchUp is free software that can be used to create, share and present 3-D models.

Download free 3D models from the SketchUp 3D Warehouse.
Advanced non-profit users of SketchUp can apply for a Google SketchUp Pro grant. SketchUp Pro includes all the intuitive modeling features of the free version of SketchUp, plus exporters for a long list of 2D and 3D vector file formats. Also, generate tabular reports based on the entities in your models. SketchUp Pro also includes LayOut for flexible 2D presentations. Make smarter models with Dynamic Components. Create your own styles using the Style Builder.

Google Maps API Premier for Non-profits
The free Google Maps API lets you embed Google Maps into your own website. Most websites use the free Maps API. Learn more about Google Maps API and sign up for a free key. For high traffic websites with over 15,000 gecode requests per day, the Maps API Premier may be the right solution.
If your organization would like to create maps that will not be shared on a public domain, you can apply for Maps API Premier. Eligible non-profits who are accepted into the program can access the Google Maps APIs (Javascript, Flash, and Static) and Earth API from behind a firewall. An example would be a disaster relief organization who wants to map information that they can't release on a publicly accessible map.
*Note: The support team will prioritize paying customers but will offer support to non-profit customers through the grants program.
