Overview
Peterhouse invites applications for a Fellowship and College Lectureship in either Ancient, extra-European, modern British or modern European History.
Duties
The duties will include a minimum of 120 hours teaching, direction of studies and the interviewing of applicants for undergraduate admission. A Fellow is expected to be engaged in research of a high academic standard.
Salary
The starting salary will be £26,609 p.a., which it may be possible to enhance by accepting further responsibilities. Other benefits include a research allowance of £1,085 p.a., an entertainment allowance and seven free meals a week at the Common Table.
The appointment is for five years from 1 October 2010 (or earlier by mutual agreement) subject to a probationary review after three years.
