Overview
The international exchange Fulbright Program was established in 1946, to increase the mutual understanding between people from the United States and other countries in the world. This program offers to the participants the opportunity to obtain master's studies in American universities. The program offers two years as a maximum academic period of studies.
Selection Criteria
•Citizenship and current residency in Nicaragua
•Undergraduate degree equivalent to B.A. or B.S.
•Good command of English language (equivalent to 520 in the TOEFL). If the candidate does not have a record, the program will offer a test during the selection process
•Excellent academic history
•Possibility to apply in Nicaragua the acquired knowledge through the scholarship
Applications
Available from February 2011
Deadline for Submitting Applications: April 2011.
The applications can be sent via electronic mail to: Fulbrightmng@state.gov, or can be submitted in hard copy at the service entrance of the American Embassy-Managua, or can be sent by regular mail to the following address: Public Affairs Office, Embajada de los Estados Unidos, Km. 5.5 Carretera Sur; Managua.
