The duration of the scholarships will vary according to the course. PhD enrolment at MQ is four years.

CSC will usually provide a living allowance (for the first three years for PhD students) as prescribed from time to time by the Chinese Government, a return international airfare by the most economical route, and visa application fees. For further details of CSC funding refer to information at: http://apply.csc.edu.cn/.

For successful candidates who meet MQ's entry criteria and who are awarded the CSC stipend, MQ will award a tuition fee scholarship and will provide a top up to the CSC living allowance to the value of $25,000 per annum. For PhD candidates, MQ may also provide a stipend for an additional six months where research delays beyond the candidate's control have occurred, and the candidate's supervisor/s support an application for scholarship extension. This will be at the same rate as the first three years and is provisional upon the candidate meeting MQ's normal standard of academic progression upon review at the end of three years of study and again six months later, and the candidate also seeking a matching extension from CSC.

If a candidate has a conditional MQ offer of enrolment subject to the CSC award, and the CSC award is not given, the candidate may still enrol at MQ but will be required to pay all costs. scholarization-blogspot
