Overview
The Europa-Kolleg Hamburg offers foreign researchers in the field of law, economics or political science to support their research projects by means of a fellowship for a research stay at the Institute for European Integration. The research projects should relate to one of the thematic priorities which are currently pursued at the Institute for European Integration:
• Theory and Policy of Cohesion
• Economic Governance within the Eurozone
• The Assimilation of Rules of Competition in the new and future Member States to European Law
• European Competition Policy
• European Human Rights Law
• The European Single Market
• Integration, Enlargement and Association
• Constitution and Administration of the EU
The financial support consists of monthly grants in the amount of 1840 Euro (university teachers) or 1000 Euro (research assistants, doctoral students). In addition, travel allowance is granted. The fellowship is awarded for a stay between one and three months, doctoral students may choose to stay longer. Fellowship
holders are expected to publish their research results (in the Institute’s own publication series or external journals).
Research fellowship applications for the year 2012 are to be submitted until 31st October 2011. Applications for a research stay in the year 2011 are possible until 15th September 2011, especially those who relate to the field of research Theory and Policy of Cohesion. Besides information on the intended length of stay, the application must contain a CV and a short draft of the research project.
