A two year position is open for a postdoctoral researcher in the area of Cryptographic Protocols and Applications at Department of Telematics, Faculty of Information Technology, Mathematics and Electrical Engineering, The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
We seek a highly motivated individual with research specialization in cryptology and network security, in particular research activity relevant to Cryptographic Protocols. The postdoc will be part of the ongoing research activities at the department, which include modelling, construction, analysis and implementation of robust and efficient cryptographic protocols, multiparty computations, voting schemes, and key distribution applied to mobile services and systems. Applicants must hold a doctorate degree, or be in the formal process for attaining this. The applicant should state the earliest possible starting date.

The position is remunerated according to salary code 1352, entry salary level 57-76 on the Norwegian State salary scale. This amounts to an annual gross salary of NOK 448 200 – 643 500 (1 NOK ~ 0.125 EUR), of which 2% is deducted for the Norwegian Public Service Pension Fund. Salary will be subject to agreement with your employer.
The successful applicant must agree to the conditions laid down for public employees. The national labour force must reflect the composition of the population to the greatest possible extent. It is therefore a major political objective to achieve a balance of age and gender and to recruit persons with an immigrant background. Immigrants are encouraged to apply for this post.
