Overview
The University of Queensland’s Faculty of Business, Economics and Law will in 2010 offer one scholarship for an Indian student to undertake a masters program with the faculty. This includes a program in any of our disciplines www.uq.edu.au/study.
Scholarship selection process
This scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic excellence to an outstanding student. Applications will be assessed on the basis of academic records supplied with your application to The University of Queensland.
Application process
Submit your UQ International Student Application for a relevant postgraduate masters program. Once you have received an unconditional offer complete the scholarship applicationform. Application forms for the scholarship can be downloaded from www.bel.uq.edu.au/internationalscholarships.
Follow the instructions on this form and submit to the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law by Friday 27 November 2009.
Scholarship details
• One 100 percent Tuition Waiver Scholarship for: three semesters masters program (AUD$40,000) for a student commencing 2010 (excluding MBA)
The scholarship will not cover:
• The University of Queensland application fee
• Cost of compulsory Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)
• Tuition fees for the additional semester of the optional “Advanced” program
• Living costs
• Cost of return airfares
• Cost of textbooks or any other miscellaneous costs
This scholarship is open to all who meet the followingcriteria:
• Indian citizen
• Have received an unconditional offer from The University of Queensland for a Masters program in the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law
• Have received a First Division or First Class award
• Will commence their program at UQ in 2010
