Canada: 2010 IODE Canada - War Memorial Scholarships

Overview

These scholarships were established to honour the memory of the men and women who gave thier lives for Canada in World Wars I and II.

Conditions

Candidates must be Canadian citizens and must hold a first degree from an accredited university or degree-granting college in Canada. At the time of applying, a candidate must be enrolled in at least the second year of a program at the doctoral level, or equivalent.

Start of Tenure

Scholarships awarded for the 2010-2011 academic year will usually be taken up in September 2010, and may not be taken up later then January 2011.

Value of Award

$15,000 for study in Canada and for study withing the Commmonwealth. Payment in Canadian funds will be in two equal installments, September and January. Wilnners pay hold additional awards totally $14,500 during the same academic year.
