Overview
The Hull York Medical School is an equal partnership between the Universities of Hull and York. It operates in association with the NHS in North and East Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire
HYMS invite applications from doctors who are registered or registerable to practice in the UK, have completed two years' specialist training and will have obtained membership of the appropriate Royal College or equivalent before taking up the fellowship.
We will offer you a full time salary to enable you to undertake a full time PhD in any area related to medicine in HYMS. Applicants must be eligible to register for a PhD.
Whilst undertaking research, you will be required to undertake resident medical duties in acute medicine / general internal medicine at Bridlington Hospitals one night per week and to participate in the weekend rota.
