Overview
This post will provide you with the opportunity to complete a PhD in a large and vibrant Psychology Department.
This is a part-time position working 27.75 hours per week on fixed-term basis for five years during which you will work as a Scientific Officer (SO) and will undertake a PhD.
You will join a team of SOs whose duties include teaching support on Year 1 and 2 research methods modules and the marking of associated practical reports. You will also provide ad hoc support on research projects of individual members of academic staff.
Eligible Candidates
You should hold or be about to obtain a good honours degree or equivalent in psychology and should be seeking to pursue a PhD in an area of Psychology in which the department can provide supervision. As well as a completed application form and CV applications should include a two page research proposal outlining your PhD plan.
