Overview
EUROPUBHEALTH Masters Course is a postgraduate degree for all those who wish to embark on a career in public health.
The European master EUROPUBHEALTH has been specially designed to respond to such a challenge. Stemming from the cooperation of six major universities and schools of public health, it offers nine training pathways and seven different specialisations. Each specialisation benefits from the particular expertise of each EUROPUBHEALTH partner and leads to the acquisition of a widely recognized dual diploma.
Training firmly rooted in on-the-ground realities
The Master provides a high level education in public health issues.
Its main goal is to enable the students to improving the health of both specific population groups and the population as a whole through :
- The designing, planning, implementation, advising and assessment of health prevention and promotion programmes.
- The management of health and social services and establishments.
It is intended to provide students with methods, analytical tools and conceptual knowledge required to understand public health issues. It is based on imparting academic knowledge and basic savoir-faire related to public health and on acquiring the necessary skills for the various functions which the students, as future public health professionals, will have to carry out at local, regional, national, European or even international level of the system, both in the public and the private sectors.

Eligibility conditions
EUROPUBHEALTH will enrol a yearly intake of 40 students. The criteria for eligibility are:
- A university Bachelor degree, i.e. 180 ECTS
- Proficiency in one or two languages suitable for the pathway combination chosen and the languages of instruction (English , English + French, Spanish + French + English, Spanish + English)
- Submission before the deadline of a full application, together with all the supporting papers required.
Erasmus Mundus grants
Europubhealth Masters course is supported by the Erasmus Mundus programme launched by the European Commission early 2004.
Erasmus Mundus offers grants to students to study abroad: To be eligible to the grant, the students must choose a pathway that allows them to spend their study period in at least two of the European partner countries which must be different from the country in which the scholarship holder has obtained his/her last university degree.
Erasmus Mundus scholarships
The Category A scholarship amounts 44 820 € for the two year masters course.
The Category B scholarship amounts 20 000 € for the two year masters course.
