Overview
The Jewish Greening Fellowship aims to reduce the environmental footprints of Jewish institutions and place caring for the environment high on the agenda of every organization that participates. Our goal is to generate a meaningful response to global climate change by upgrading the sustainable practices of our institutions while strengthening Jewish life.
This intensive program provides training, grants totaling $15,000 - $20,000 and organizational support to twenty Jewish institutions with the goal of making their facilities more efficient and sustainable while raising awareness of environmental issues and engaging members and constituents. The Jewish Greening Fellowship is generously funded by UJA-Federation of New York and is part of a larger effort to address global climate change by providing grants and educational opportunities.
Please note that this program is only open to organizations in UJA-Federation of New York’s catchment area (the Five Boroughs, Westchester and Long Island).
