• The School in which the student will be registered at the University of Leeds will receive an overall Project Support Grant of £2,700 for the lifetime of the award, of which the School should pay £500 directly to the department/school in the collaborating institution. The remainder will be used at the discretion of the supervisors to support the research expenses, travel and conference costs of the student as well as the supervisor’s expenses in attending supervisory meetings;
• The award will be made for one year in the first instance and renewable for a further period of up to two years, subject to satisfactory academic progress;
• The award holders will be registered as research degree students at the University of Leeds and will be bound by the regulations of this University;
