South East European Studies at Oxford (SEESOX)
SEESOX/Alpha Bank Visiting Fellowship on the Political Economy of South East Europe for the academic year 2010-11
We seek a candidate who will undertake research on the political economy of SE Europe, in one of the following indicative areas: post-communist political, economic and/or social developments; foreign direct investment in the region; reform and European integration; developments in transport, energy, migration; regional cooperation and regional initiatives.
The candidate must submit a full research proposal which should be related to at least one of the above areas. Applicants must have completed a PhD study in one of the following fields of social sciences: politics, economics, political economy, international relations. They should also have a very good working knowledge of English. The fellowship is for three terms, starting October 2010 until June 2011, and carries a stipend of £21,500 per annum.
