Overview
Our colleague and friend Diana Rudd (Barossa Valley Palliative Care Coordinator), who died in February 2004, was a passionate and dedicated registered nurse.
The Palliative Care Council of South Australia raises funds in the community to provide $7,500 annually for the Diana Rudd Fellowship so that a South Australian palliative care nurse can make an international trip to further their knowledge and skills in the area of palliative care, and just as importantly, enjoy a real travel experience.
The nature of the fellowship is intended to reflect Diana’s values and interests as exhibited in her own professional life:
- a lifelong commitment to the care of the sick
