About the research team:

The research in our team mainly focuses on electrochemistry and nanotechnology. Our team is led by Dr. Jie Zhang who has recently been awarded a prestigious Future Fellowship from the Australia Research Council. The Future fellowship is a new scheme created by the Australian Government “to attract and retain the best and brightest mid-career researchers to conduct their research in areas of critical national importance in Australia”. With this fellowship, Dr Zhang will be able to work alongside of his Ph.D. students and Postdoctoral research assistants as a full time researcher and give them timely advices. Before he joined Monash, Dr. Zhang had been a Senior Research Scientist at the Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology, Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Singapore for three years.
