Fellowships will be awarded to applicants who are able to make a significant contribution to the following priority areas:
•Advanced Particle Processing
•Asthma and Respiratory Diseases
•Bioinformatics, Biomarker Discovery and Information-Based Medicine
•Brain and Mental Health Research
•Centre of Excellence for Complex Dynamic Systems and Control
•Computer Assisted Research Mathematics and its Applications
•Energy
•Gender, Health and Ageing
•Geotechnical and Materials Modelling
•Health Behaviour Research Centre
•Organic Electronics
•Reproductive Science
Outstanding applicants from any discipline in which the University has a research strength are also encouraged to apply.
Subject to suitability, one of the Fellowships will be awarded to a researcher who is aligned with the Priority Research Centre for Organic Electronics (PRCOE) in the Discipline of Chemistry.
Applicants will be assessed on the quality of the proposed research project, excellence of their track record (relative to opportunity) and the contribution and expertise they bring to the research program.
Amount awarded
The Fellowships are available at Academic Level B (although a higher level may be considered) for a period of three years. Successful applicants will also receive a Research Support Grant of $15,000.
