Sweden: Post-doc Position in Geochemistry at Umeå University

Post-doc Position (2 years) in Geochemistry

This position is open to experimentalists with a PhD in geochemistry or related disciplines. The successful candidate will contribute to our ongoing project concerning the biogeochemistry of phosphorus. In particular, the post-doc project will be focused on molecular-scale processes that control the transfer mechanisms of various pools of phosphorus in systems involving mineral surfaces and microorganisms. Experience in geochemical and microbiological laboratory techniques and analytical chemistry approaches is highly desirable as well as experience in molecular-scale studies of geomicrobial processes. Good social skills, ability to work independently as well as in collaboration with others, and good skills in English language are valued.


To qualify for the position you should have a PhD degree, or equivalent, not more than three years old.
