Fulbright ANU College of Business and Economics Postgraduate Scholarship

Overview

The Australian National University (ANU) College of Business and Economics and the Australian-American Fulbright Commission have teamed up to establish a new Scholarship for American Scholars studying in the area of business or economics. The first Scholarship was awarded in 2010.

The Scholarship is valued up to A $40,000 and will give a talented scholar the opportunity for study and research in Australia with the ANU College of Business and Economics for 8-12 months.

This Scholarship is for U.S. citizens wishing to carry out research towards their U.S. postgraduate degree, or undertake an Australian postgraduate degree by research, working with the ANU College of Business and Economics. Applications are invited from graduates in the field of business and economics to work in the College.

Scholarship Benefits

The ANU Postgraduate Scholarship is valued at up to AUD40,000 and includes:

Generous travel entitlement
Monthly stipend for a maximum of 12 months
Establishment and baggage allowances
Australian Medicare health care coverage
Transport and accommodation to an Enrichment Program whilst in Australia
Professional network of U.S., Australian and international Fulbright Scholars and distinguished Alumni.

The Scholarship period may be extended but without funding from the Fulbright Commission.

The ANU College of Business and Economics seeks to advance knowledge through high quality teaching and research in the closely related areas of accounting, actuarial studies, business administration, business information systems, economics, econometrics, finance, international business, management, marketing and applied statistics

Applications for the 2012 scholarships open 1 May 2011 and close 18 October 2011.
