Overview
A position as research associate/postdoc is offered in the Polymer Reaction Design group in the department OBPC. The project aims at the development of novel semi-conductor polymer materials via controlled synthesis of poly(phenylene vinylene)s with defined microstructure and functionality. To reach this aim, the research is carried out at the interface of the fields of contemporary polymer synthesis, state-of-the-art polymer characterization and polymerization kinetics. Additionally, the position entails organizational duties in the research group, supervision of bachelor and master thesis projects as well as co-guidance of PhD students.

| Diploma Candidates will have a doctoral degree in chemistry or a related discipline with profound experience in the area of polymer synthesis and characterization. Candidates who are in the final stage of their PhD and will defend their thesis until October will also be considered for the position (or equivalent). |
