Scholarships at International College of Hotel Management, Australia

Overview

The International College of Hotel Management is pleased to offer 4 Australian Scholarships for 2012 entry. The value of each scholarship is A$20,000 to be paid in the following manner:-

Year 1 A$5,000

Year 2 A$5,000

Year 3 A$5,000

Year 4 A$5,000

Eligibility Requirements

■ Citizens of Australia, both resident and non-resident. International students attending schools in Australia whocomplete a minimum of the last two years of their high school studies in Australia. Students attending Australian International Schools in Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia are also eligible to apply.

■ Minimum age requirement is 18 years old at the time of commencement with ICHM.

■ Maximum age 20 at time of application.

■ Will complete in 2011 or have recently completed Year 12 or equivalent international schooling.

■ Open only to new students seeking entry into Year 1.

■ For students whose mother tongue is other than English, IELTS 6.0/TOEFL 550 (computer 213 or iBT 80 accepted also).

Step 1: How to apply

Your completed application must contain:

■ Scholarship application form.

This form is in two parts.

- Cover page found here, providing your personal contact details.

- Your response to the 4 short answer questions. Note that there are no right or wrong answers. We simply want to find out more about you and your career aspirations.

■ Brief Resume (not more than one page in length)

■ Copies of your school reports for year 11 and 12 (to date).

■ ICHM application form (unless an application to attend ICHM has already been forwarded).

The Application form can be found in the ICHM Prospectus, or on the ICHM website. Make sure you make copies of your school reports and Reference Letter for both the ICHM Application Form, and also for Scholarship Application.

■ Scholarship Application Fee of A$50.

Payment can be made by credit card or cheque. Cheques in A$ made payable to ICHM Business Management Account.

All cheques are banked and credit card payments processed upon receipt.

Note: Do not staple or bind applications. Do not send original transcripts as they will not be returned.
