Overview
Applications are invited from candidates who possess the necessary qualifications in order to fill a Full-time Research Fellow position at the Cyprus University of Technology and specifically in the Cyprus International Institute for Environmental and Public Health in association with Harvard School of Public Health (CII) in the field of “Environmental Chemistry specializing in Mass Spectrometry (Either GC or LC)”
Applicants should have:
- A relevant PhD degree (or equivalent) from a recognized university
- Experience in multi-tasking of research projects in the laboratory
- Very good knowledge of the English language (spoken and written)
- Experience in grant writing
The following will be considered as an advantage:
- Experience in gas chromatography or liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry
Τhe appointment will be for a period of twelve (12) months. The monthly gross salary for the position will be €1628,96. There is no provision for 13th salary.

- A copy of their most representative publication (if applicable) – 2 copies

Applications must be submitted in a closed envelope marked as “Application for Research Fellow Position – CII” at the premises of the Cyprus University of Technology, Human Resource Department, Limassol Savings Co-operative Bank Building, 4th Floor, Arch. Kyprianos 31, 3036 Limassol or must be sent via registered post (P.O. Box 50329, CY-3603 Limassol) with a clearly visible post office stamp of a date not later than Friday, 5 August 2011 at 2:00 p.m. which is the deadline for the submission of the applications.
