Overview
Based in the University's Research and Enterprise Development Division, this is an opportunity to make a significant contribution to a small team that supports the University's research and enterprise strategy and manages its submissions to research assessments.
Responsibility
You will support the work of the University's Research Committee, a Committee of the University Senate, acting as the Assistant Committee Secretary, providing project management for Committee initiatives and developing procedural, policy and strategy papers. You will also assist the Head of Research and Enterprise Policy in developing and managing projects related to the development of the University's submission to the new Research Excellence Framework (REF) and in providing advice and guidance to the academic community on all aspects of the new framework.
Eligibility
You will have a degree or equivalent qualification and significant experience of working in an administrative role, preferably in an HE environment. Able to work substantially on your own initiative, you will have excellent organisational, analytical, written and communication skills. Good IT skills are also essential. This full-time post is offered on a fixed-term contract for one year.
