Overview
The Prix Jardin d’Europe will be awarded to a dance production presented in the frame of an Emerging Works Summit. Every year, one of the co-organizers will organize a festival presenting 10 to 14 works of emerging choreographers selected both from the European dance market and from works co-produced by Jardin d’Europe. In 2009, this event will take place in Brussels within the frames of the "Working Title Festival", organized by Workspace Brussels in cooperation with Ultima Vez from December 3 - December 11, 2009. Learn more about it in the section "Prix Jardin d'Europe"

Remarks
Each scholarship within the frame of Jardin d'Europe is cofinanced by the European Union (Culture 2007-2013 programme), by Austrian funding bodies and by local funding from the home country of the nominee (but no private persons as sponsors). This last part is not yet secured in all countries. Therefore the applicants are encouraged (in cooperation with the Jardin d'Europe office) to look for possible funding institutions in their home countries. It is a good idea to check the former danceWEBers from your home country and where they received funding from.
Depending on the available sources of financing, 1 or 2 participants per country are selected from countries of the European Union. In addition, a total of 15-20 participants from Central and Eastern European countries as well as a small number from other regions of the world (Africa, South-East Asia, North/South America, Australia) are selected each year.
