Overview
Applications are invited for two three-year research studentships to be undertaken in the School of Life and Health Sciences at Aston University. These studentships are offered to support work that builds on the strategic development of the Aston Brain Centre (ABC); a centre of excellence affording state of the art infrastructure for neuroimaging, cellular and clinical neurophysiology, and developmental cognitive neuroscience.
The exceptional quality of research in the School of Life and Health Sciences (LHS) has been confirmed in the latest Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) results - with research in Allied Healthcare and Professions and was ranked 3rd out of 61 UK higher education institutions based on the volume of research given a 3* or 4* rating. This reflects the amount of internationally excellent and world leading research produced within the School.
