Overview
Applications are invited for a fully-funded three-year PhD studentship funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council's HERA programme. The PhD research will contribute to an international project entitled "Creativity and craft production in Middle and Late Bronze Age Europe" co-directed by Dr Marie-Louise Stig Srensen. The studentship will focus on creativity in metal production in northern and central Europe in the Middle and Late Bronze Age. The studentship will cover University and College fees in addition to the above stipend.
The studentship, to start 1 October 2010, is open to applicants from the EU and EU associated countries only.

Application requirements
Applications should consist of a CV and a covering letter stating how your skills and interests are relevant to the project and how you would develop the topic of the studentship. You should include the names of two referees and arrange for them to submit their references by the deadline. It is the applicant's responsibility to ensure that they are submitted in time. Late applications will not be considered.
