Overview
The Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Embassy is pleased to announce the competition to select a visiting Cameroonian scholar to teach two undergraduate courses at Savannah State University, located in Savannah, Georgia in the U.S. for the 2011-2012 academic year.
The two undergraduate courses are “African Governments” and “Global Issues.” Additionally, the scholar will work with faculty to develop innovative disciplinary bridges within programs and enhance his/her professional experience with the National African American Conferences, the African Studies Conference, and the Georgia Association of Political Scientists.
Preference will be given to individuals who have not previously been a Fulbright grantee and who have not been involved in academic activities in the United States within the past five years.
The Fulbright Scholar application can be downloaded at http://yaounde.usembassy.gov/ and should be returned ELECTRONICALLY to ExchangesYaounde@state.gov by February 28, 2011.
