DAAD-IAESTE Internship Programme

Overview

• Practical training placements with various firms, institutions of higher education and research institutes for students are arranged by the “International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Expertise” (IAESTE).

Target Group

• Students of natural and technical sciences, agriculture and forestry registered at an Indian University.

Duration

• These offers are generally for the period of 2-3 months. (in some cases 5-6months)
Scholarship Value
• A DAAD stipend of Euro 650 per month to cover living expenses,
• Health, liability and accident insurance.

Requirements and Conditions

• All applicants must be registered students at a university or an institution of higher education for the whole period of training and must have at least one semester remaining after the completion of his internship in Germany.
• Internship has to be an integral part of the ongoing study program.
• The language proficiency should be in accordance with the requirement of the job description mentioned in Form O.

• Student Nomination Form – should not be hand written (2x)
• Letter of motivation addressed to the Employer (2x)
• Curriculum Vitae (2x)
• List of subjects studies (2x)
• Language Certificate: English (2x) German (2x)
• Passport Photos (2x)
• Certificate of enrolment (2x)

• Application deadline 15th February
• Final selection April
• Internship period May onwards

Important Information

Kindly Note:

• Work offered, work period and language requirement are stated in The Form “O”.
• It is important to read the job description carefully and apply only if you are suited for the job.
• Work Period can not be altered, unless the Employer agrees to new dates.
• Please use A4 size paper only and DO NOT staple the documents.
• The first and last name filled in the application form should be identical to the name in the Passport.
• Candidate must be a resident of India and an Indian national.
