Jindal Global Law School (JGLS), the flagship school of O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU), imparts globalized education with a view to producing world-class professionals, scholars, and academics in law. Globalization has opened various opportunities and challenges which have created the need for competent academics, scholars and professionals. The vision of JGLS is to fulfill this need by equipping their students and empowering their faculty with the knowledge, skills, scholarship and vision to meet these challenges and demands of globalization.
Scholarships
O.P. Jindal Outstanding Merit Scholarship
The LL.B. programme, five year B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) programme, and the two-year LL.M. programme will be awarded the O.P. Jindal Outstanding Merit Scholarship of Rs. 1 lakh each. This will be based solely on their performance in the LSAT—India admission test.
Naveen Jindal Young Global Scholarship
The aim of the scholarship is to nurture, encourage and support young global leaders. One student from the three year LL.B. programme, one student from the five-year B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) programme, and another student from the two year LL.M. programme will be awarded this scholarship on the basis of an independent selection process. An award of Rs. 5 lakhs will be given to each student.
Shallu Jindal Outstanding Women Scholarships
The aim of the scholarship is to nurture, encourage and support outstanding women students of B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), and two students from the two year LL.M. programme will be awarded this scholarship on the basis of an independent selection process. An award of Rs. 2 lakhs will be given to each student. Detailed information relating to scholarships, fellowships and fee concessions is available in the website www.jgu.edu.in. Students who qualify under Haryana domicile category may be eligible for full or partial fee concession.
