Overview
The Saïd Foundation works in the United Kingdom and the Middle East. In the UK it assists the Saïd Business School at Oxford University in its pursuit of excellence whilst in the Middle East it seeks to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in its priority countries of Syria, Palestine, Jordan and Lebanon.
The UK objective is pursued by making grants to the Saïd Business School Foundation (SBSF) for its Strategic Development Fund. Over the years more than 500 young people have benefited from our scholarships including archaeologists, environmentalists, geneticists, linguists, musicians, nurses, water engineers and university professors.
All the Foundation asks of its scholars is that they apply their new skills and knowledge in one of our target countries on completion of their course.
