Overview
UQI scholarships provide full tuition fee support to outstanding international research higher degree candidates.
Value: The UQI covers the full cost of tuition fees for the candidate. UQ also provides a living allowance scholarship.
Closing Date: There are four scholarship rounds (February, May, August & November). All international applicants who request scholarship support on their Application for Admission and Scholarship are considered for this scholarship. In addition, candidates can be nominated for this scholarship by their school/institute when they attain the confirmation of candidature milestone.
Source of Funding: The University of Queensland.
Basis of Award: Academic merit; research experience and/or potential; match with University research strengths; 50% co-contribution to living allowance scholarship by enrolling school/institute.
Eligible candidates
To hold this scholarship, you must
- be an international applicant,
- meet international student visa requirements as specified by the Department of Immigration and Multicultural Affairs.
- undertake a research project in an area of research strength at the University of Queensland.
- have a full living allowance scholarship (UQ provides a living allowance scholarship if you do not already have one).
