Overview
Research Fellows x 6 • £37839 - £43840 per annum
You don’t see horizons like this very often.
Cardiff is set to become home to an Institute which will have an impact across the world. Sustainability science is a new horizon to be explored by the academic world and so funding has been secured to establish the new Institute for Sustainable Places - a research partnership across 10 Schools which will build upon and strengthen existing international research excellence in this fast-developing scientific field.
With Professor Terry Marsden as Director and nine other leading names in their fields making up the management team, this unique Institute will attract renowned academics and experts from across the globe. The Institute will develop international models and research programmes
around the integrated theme of sustainable ‘places’ including cities and their surrounding countryside.
It will be an international scientific ‘meeting place’, proactively bringing together the most outstanding research and researchers. If you have the expertise to play your part in this future-thinking, hugely innovative new initiative then we could open up a whole new world for you.
