Overview
The candidate should have a Master’s degree in Civil, Mining, or Geological Engineering. Knowledge of rock mechanics is necessary. Candidates with field experience (surface or underground) or advanced geotechnical instrumentation will be given preference.
Job Description:
The student will work on the development of new techniques for measuring, mapping, interpreting, and modelling geological structures using digital terrain models derived from photogrammetry or lidar as the primary input data.
Scholarship funding is only available to students with a Masters GPA greater than 88% and with excellent English communication skills. A track record of quality publications in English is highly desirable
