The Pharmacy Australia Centre of Excellence (PACE) is a state-of-the-art development, housing the UQ School of Pharmacy and providing some of Australia’s best facilities for pharmacy education and research. PACE also represents a remarkable opportunity for pharmacy education and research, the pharmacy profession and the pharmacy industry to develop those key partnerships and synergies of excellence which will shape the future of pharmacy.
Research into the identification of novel therapeutic targets for breast cancer. PhD scholarships are available for highly motivated and enthusiastic students with an Honours degree in science, pharmacology, physiology, pharmacy, biochemistry, biotechnology, microbiology or a related degree.
You would join a large and dynamic research group of postdoctoral scientists, PhD and honours students located in new facilities in The Pharmacy Australia Centre of Excellence (PACE). Projects related to the identification of novel therapeutic targets for breast cancer are currently available. Description of our research area.
Remuneration: Scholarships are awarded based on merit and are open to students who hold an Honours 1 or a high Honours IIA degree in a discipline appropriate to the PhD project selected. You must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or an Australian permanent resident. The scholarships are currently valued at $22,860 per annum tax free (indexed annually).
